Christians have been charged to always connect with their God who is ever ready to meet with them whenever they make themselves available.
The Conference President Ekiti Baptist Conference Revd. Adeyinka Aribasoye stated this at the tenth anniversary and thanks giving of Bethel Baptist Association, held at First Baptist Church Ise-Ekiti.
Represented by the Conference chairman Rev. Rotimi Oluwaleye, he noted that Jacob met with God at Bethel and his life never remain the same.
In his address of welcome, the Association moderator, Rev. Samuel Ajayi thanked God for helping them thus far, also praised members of Bethel Baptist Association for their resilience.
The highpoint of the ceremony was the presentation of awards to dignitaries for their roles in Christian services.
Among them were the former member of national Assembly Hon Titilayo Akindahunsi,servants of God: Rev. Jonathan Oladele, Rev. Abiodun Ojo, Mr. Johnson Aina and Mr. Kayode Ogundapo who was honoured with Christian service award on for the roles his early Sunday morning programme ‘OKO IGBALA’ has played in the lives of his its audience.
