The Ewi of Ado Ekiti, Oba Adeyemo Adejugbe has congratulated Ekiti people for the peaceful conduct of the Gubernatorial Election in Ekiti State.
He also appreciated all the contestants for the Governorship Seat for their mutual understanding and cooperation before during and after the June 18 governorship election in the state.
According to him, it is the relative peace in the State that has given Ekiti people the opportunity to celebrate this year’s Eld-el-kabir with joy.
In his Sallah message, the Royal Father congratulated the Muslim Faithfuls for the joy of the season.
He thanked the Grand Imam of Yoruba, Delta, Alhaji Jamiu Keulere and other Imams, Alfas and Muslims in general for their fervent prayers at all times and charged them not to relent.
The monarch advised that people should be security Conscious during and after the Sallah saying that security is everybody’s business.
Oba Adejugbe called on the well-to-do in the society to remember the needy in times like this, adding that giving is akin to the underpinnings of Islam.
