A Former Deputy Governor in Ekiti State, Chief Abiodun Aluko says the third year anniversary of Governor Kayode Fayemi’s second time in office has brought about meaningful change and development in areas of Agriculture,Youths empowerment, education and road infrastructure
In a statement in Ikere-Ekiti, Chief Aluko congratulated Governor Fayemi, his Wife, Erelu Bisi Fayemi and the Deputy Governor, Otunba Bisi Egbeyemi well as the APC families for setting Ekiti economy on a sound footing.
Chief Aluko maintained that the second time in office of Governor Fayemi had fixed Ekiti state by charting a way for the development of her economy through enabling environment for agric businesses in the state.
He noted that the enabling environment had attracted Agric business investors into Ekiti state which include Dangote rice, Stallion Rice and JMK, Promasidor, the owner of the popular Cowbell trade mark,, adding that the development had not only brought about one hundred million dollars in the economy, but also create Job opportunities for the teeming Youths in the state.
The Ekiti State Former Deputy Governor also pointed out that the completion of the ongoing cargo Airport by Fayemi administration would help farmers to transport their finished products to different markets across the world, apart from the massive infrastructural erected across town and villages in order to give each community a facelift.
He said that, despite the paucity of funds, many projects and programmes as well as policies of the present administration had imparted meaningful on the lives of people, state economy and the society as a whole.
Chief Aluko said that the present administration had employed more than 1,000 teachers facilitated training and retraining of teachers and civil servants to boost their capacities.
The Elder statesman who commended the Governor’s Wife, Erelu Bisi Fayemi and Otunba Egbeyemi for their sacrifices in ensuring development of Ekiti urged them not to relent on their efforts at making the state great.
Chief Aluko observed that the Governor needed a good successor who would sustain the current
dream to place Ekiti on the world map in terms of meaningful education, quality healthcare, commercial Agriculture, Infrastructure development and having the rights of citizens protected at all times.
Chief Aluko called on the people of the state for more support for the administration of Governor Kayode Fayemi, adding that APC was determined to take Ekiti to higher pedestals of meaningful development.
