A farmer Mr. Suyi Bamisaye who was kidnapped by gunmen in Ikole area of Ekiti State three days ago has been left off the hook by his abductors after paying undisclosed ransom.
This was confirmed to Radio Nigeria by family members of the victim on the telephone.
Suyi Bamisaye age 51, was abducted while working on his farm located at Oke Ijebu in Ikole Ekiti.
Narrating his ordeal, Mr Bamisaye said the kidnappers were three in number saying they appeared suddenly with dangerous weapon and marched him to unknown destination.
He said though he could not ascertain the exact location he was hid, it was closer to the major highway as he could hear the sound of vehicles passing through.
Bamisaye thanked God for the safety of his life from the criminals urging government to find lasting solutions to the issue of insecurity in the state.
