As part of efforts to connect with the juggernauts in the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, the Director General Segun Oni Campaign Organization Mr Yemi Arokodare was on hand to give a warm welcome to the Governor of Sokoto State, Alhaji Aminu Tambuwal who was on a visit to Ekiti State.
The Sokoto State Governor who was in the state as a guest speaker at a colloquium organized in honor of Chief Judge of Ekiti State was seeing side by side with the Director General (his friend) at the Abiodun Adetiloye Hall Ado Ekiti where the event was held.
Speaking after the ceremony, Mr Arokodare said he was happy to receive his Former colleague at the House of Representatives in Ekiti State saying the occasion enabled them to also talk extensively on Ekiti politics and coming election in the state.
He explained that the Former Speaker of the House of Representatives and now Governor, Alhaji Aminu Tambuwal remained a factor in the political arena in Nigeria.
The Director General said the Segun Oni Campaign Organization under his leadership would ensure that it gave credence to leaders and stakeholders who are committed to seeing the PDP succeed again.
Mr Arokodare pointed out that he had used the medium to solicit the support of the Deputy Chairman of Nigeria’s Governors Forum in the area of advice and suggestion that would be of help to the team in leading the party to victory come next year.
He described Governor Tambuwal as a democrat with good leadership qualities whose trajectory in the political sphere of Nigeria was worthy of emulation.
