Federal Government’s visitation Panel seeks support of Progress FM

The Federal Government Visitation Panel to the Federal Polytechnic, Adorable Ekiti has sought the support of Progress FM in the area of enlightening members of the public on the need to submit suggestions that can help to reposition the institution for better service.

Chairman of the panel, Chief John Ochoga stated this when he led members on a courtesy visit to progress FM, Ado Ekiti.

Chief Ochoga said that partnering Progress FM became necessary so that members of the public and other stakeholders would be aware of the panel’s expectations as well as modalities for the submission of suggestions, advice and opinions for the assignment.

He pointed out that the objective of the panel was to appraise the relationship between the polytechnic and statutory bodies as well as leadership quality so as to come up with report on how to ensure cordial working system.

“We have called for memorandum from members of the public and stakeholders and we have requested the Progress FM to help us publicise these requests so that members who are interested can within the next few days, send us any memorandum on any subject matter relating to the polytechnic.

“There are terms of references…nine of them. You respond to any of them, what you think should be done. And we have e-mail addresses where it can be sent to. But if you want to come and drop it physically, you can do so as we have put suggestion boxes in six places within the campus for that purpose,” Chief Ochoga explained.

Receiving the panel, the Acting General Manager of Progress FM, Mr. Bayo Babalola said the station had Always supported the Federal Polytechnic, Ado Ekiti particularly, in the area of information dissemination.

Mr. Babalola however, assured the chairman that Progress FM would play its role in ensuring that the reason for their visit to the station was actualised.

All interested stakeholders and the general public are hereby advised to type their memoranda in Tahoma font 12, double spaced in hard and soft copies with a heading MEMORANDA WHICH FALL WITHIN 2011-2015 and should be sent to 2015adopolypanel@gmail.com while the second one should carry the heading MEMORANDA WITHIN THE PERIOD 2016-2020 and should be forwarded to 2020adopolypanel@gamil.com.

The memoranda which should be supported with relevant documents where necessary are to be addressed to: THE CHAIRMAN, PRESIDENTIAL VISITATION PANEL, FEDERAL POLYTECHNIC ADO EKITI before it closes on the 15th of this month.
