Acting chairperson , Ekiti state Sports Council, Mrs Olusola Osetoba will today Monday April 26 officially assume office.
Her assumption of office is coming few days after Ekiti state governor, Dr Kayode Fayemi approved her appointment as acting chairperson of the sports council.
She is expected to meet the management and staff of he sports council and also have an interface with sports journalists.
Mrs Olusola Osetoba from Emure Local Government Area of Ekiti state is the first woman to be appointed as chairperson of the sports council since the creation of the state on the first of October 1996..
She holds a Masters Degree and has rare passion for grassroots sports development and female emancipation through sports.
Until her appointment, Mrs Osetoba was a board member at the Sports Council.
