Gunmen suspected to be kidnappers have abducted some students during an attack on a private institution, Green Field University, Kaduna state.
The state commissioner for internal security and Home Affairs, Mr Samuel Aruwan confirmed the incident to newsmen.
According to eyewitness, the gunmen stormed the university last night and started shooting sporadically before taking some of the students away.
The incident was the first major attack that bandits would launch on communities around the Kaduna- Abuja Highway.
It would be recalled that Kaduna state had been facing series of attacks by bandits including assaults on school.
