As Ramadan fast continues, Muslims faithful have been advised to pray for peace, progress and development of Nigeria during the season.
The Senior Special Assistant to Ekiti State Governor on Labour Matters, Cheief Yemi Esan gave the advice in his congratulatory message to the entire workforce in Ekiti especially the Muslims on the occasion of Ramadan.
Chief Esan thanked God for sparing the lives of the workers to witness the 2021 fast, having survived many socio, economic, health and other national challenges.
The SSA Labour urged workers to follow the path of tolerance, humility, understanding and love which the season symbolizes, saying that by so doing, Nigeria and Ekiti State would be a better place.
He reminded the workers of the need to remember the state government in their prayers during the fasting, adding that Governor Kayode Fayemi was more than committed to their welfare.
