Residents of Ekiti Express Mix Feelings on COVID-19 Vaccination

A cross section of people who have taken Covid 19 vaccines at Ekiti State University Teaching Hospital Ado Ekiti says it is safe and effective, with no adverse effect.

Some of them who spoke with Radio Nigeria correspondent expressed confidence in the effectiveness of the vaccines.

One of them who is also an health worker at the hospital, Mr Kayode Olowe said people should disregard the rumors about the vaccines that it was from the pit of hell, saying that he had taken his vaccine with no side effect

A media man ,Mr Timothy Ayorinde said that he did not experience any ill feelings or headache after taken the vaccines as against the compulsory rest that was advised to be taken.

” I went back to the office immediately I got mine and continue with my work”

A civil servant, Mrs Iyabode Mopelola advised people to take advantage of the vaccines on time to avoid rush or regret when the vaccines got finished.

” Since people have been taken ,I have not heard about any negative reports or ill reactions and I pray mine won’t be an exception” .

An Artisan ,Mr Samuel Ojo however urged government not to force the vaccine on people adding that people should be convince before taking the vaccines

” I have not taken mine but I will still take it when I am fully convince within me but let no one force or coarse people to take it.

Meanwhile , a market woman at the popular Oja Oba (King’s market) in Ado-Ekiti said that she would never partake in the vaccines stressing that it has negative spiritual undertone as people were being lured into darkness through it.

” As for me I won’t be part of the vaccines because it is from the kingdom of Devil to reduce the world population and to give Devil chance to rule the world

” Let’s intensify more in prayers that the virus should disappear from the world planet, there is nothing God cannot do.
