Ekiti Governor’s wife sponsors junior workers for NABTEB examination.

About 40 junior officers in public service of Ekiti State have been registered for remedial programme of National Business and Technical Examination Board. NABTEB

This is to upgrade them, improve their status and enhance their capacity in service delivery.

At the flag off of the registration in Ado-Ekiti, Erelu Bisi Fayemi asked the beneficiaries to take advantage of the programme to reshape their future.

She therefore urged government at all levels to invest more in capacity building of workers in civil service in order to facilitate development of the country.

“Humanity is the greatest resources for development and to harvest it, we need to invest in it”

“As a state we are giving them opportunities to reshape their future” she emphasized.

In a remark, the head of service, Mrs peju Babafemi said the remedial programme sponsored by State government would allow the junior workers from selected ministries, departments and agencies to undergo three months training as well as sit for NABTEB examination in may/june.

She said out of the 40 students 31 are females while 9 were males which demonstrated the interest of the present administration in the state for capacity building of public workers.
