Wife of Ekiti State Governor, Erelu Bisi Fayemi wants participants on Radio to be at the vanguard of sensitising people on her advocacy programmes.
Mrs fayemi made this known in Ado-Ekiti while receiving a group of women who were usual participants on Radio programmes.
She highlighted some of the advocacy programme to include prohibition of female Genital mutilation, protection of child right, campaign against rape, promotion hygienic environment among others.
The governor’s wife maintained that such sensitisation became imperative to get rid of societal ills capable of destroying the good image of the state.
Erelu fayemi observed that the present administration in the state had acted according to the dictates of the masses as such was visible in the developmental projects undertaken by the government so far.
” I want to encourage you to continue to pray for the success of the present administration in order to ensure good governance.
Earlier, the group of women led by the senior special adviser to the state governor, Mr Gboyega Ajayi appreciated the wife of the governor for assisting the less privileged in the state.
Some of the women including Mrs Remi Owoeye said developmental projects had increased appreciably to including establishment of school and road rehabilitation but called for road construction in from ijelu to itapa Ekiti so as to allow easy transportation of farm produce.
