The Senate of Federal University Oye Ekiti, FUOYE has appointed the immediate past Dean of Faculty of Social Sciences at the University, Prof Jeremiah Olusola Omotola as the new Deputy Vice Chancellor Administration.
Professor Omotola was unanimously elected during the first Senate meeting in this year which lasted for about hours, while the second nominee name withheld deliberately stepped down.
He replaces Prof Abayomi Sunday Fasina who was in January appointed the 4th Substantive Vice chancellor of FUOYE.
The erstwhile Dean is a committed friend of the new Vice Chancellor and will help to further strengthen and stabilise the Administration of Prof Abayomi Sunday Fasina.
Following the new development, position of the Dean, Faculty of Social Sciences is vacant and will be filled soon.
