Ekiti SDP Deputy Governorship Candidate in 2018 election dies

The Deputy Governorship Candidate of the Social Democratic Party, SDP in 2018 election in Ekiti state, Mrs. Adetayo Yemisi Nee Adefolalu Yemisi is dead.

Children of the renowned accountant, business woman and politician announced the death of their mother in a statement this evening in Ado Ekiti.

According to them, Late Adetayo Yemisi was born on the 24th of December 1966 in Ilawe Ekiti.

They described their late mother as one of the very prominent figures in Nigeria.

Late Adetayo Yemisi attended Corpus Christi, Ilawe Ekiti before going to The Polytechnic Ibadan.

Late Adetayo Yemisi retired as a Chief Accountant in Eti-Osa East Local Government Area of Lagos State.

She was a member of professional bodies, which includes, the Association of National Accountant of Nigeria ANAN, the Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria, CITN as well as the Institute of Public Administration of Nigeria IPAN among others”.
