Kogi State Governor, Alhaji Yahaha Bello has called on Nigerians to shun politics of bitterness irrespective of political, religious, and ethnicity to enhance good governance in the country.
Governor Bello made this assertion when he received the Former Minister of Aviation, Chief Femi Fani Kayode at the kogi government lodge in Abuja.
Governor Bello who commended Chief Fani Kayode for such visit, described him as one of the political gladiators in the country.
The Governor further said the task of nation building was a collective responsibility of every citizen.
According to him, all stakeholders must join hands with the present administration under president Muhammadu Buhari in the fight against insecurity ravaging the country without ethnic and regional differences, noting that the All Progressives Congress remains the hope of Nigeria.
A statement by the Chief Press Secretary to the Kogi State Governor, Onogwu Muhammed, said Chief Fani kayode described Governor Yahaya Bello as a phenomenal leader and a bridge builder,
He said it was an honor to have spent quality time with the Governor whom he described as “a friend and a brother, stressing that his visit to the Governor was to discuss the way forward for the country.
The Former Minister of Aviation, Chief Femi Fani Kayode also visited the Governor of Yobe State Mai Mala Buni who is the current National Caretaker Chairman of the APC.
