A cross section of residents of Ado Ekiti wants the state police command to beam its search light on every uncompleted building in the state capital.
Those who spoke with Radio Nigeria reporter including Mr Dada Ogundana, John David and Peter Akinbo alleged that criminal elements were hiding in uncompleted buildings to perpetrate evil.
They appealed to the police to extend their patrols to abandoned buildings so as to fish out criminals especially those pretending to be lunatics.
About seven suspected kidnappers were apprehended in Ekiti state by security operatives in the last one week.
One of the suspected kidnappers who was nabbed at uncompleted four storey building, opposite Ekiti state University Teaching Hospital, Ado Ekiti was almost lynched by mob before he was rescued by the police.
