The Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP in Ekiti state, Chief Bisi Kolawole has charged members of the party to be committed to the course of the party to record success in future elections.
He gave the charge at a meeting organised for PDP Wards and Local government Secretaries across the state held in Ado-Ekiti.
Chief Kolawole who also urged them to forget the past and forge ahead told the party Secretaries to always organise meeting and start mobilization in their domains.
Also speaking, the Deputy Chairman of PDP in Ekiti, Mr. Lanre Omolase and the State Women Leader, Chief Folasade Akinrinmola enjoined the party executives at the ward and local government levels to be truthful in their dealings.
In her remarks, the state PDP Secretary, Mrs. Funmi Ogun who put up the meeting said the purpose was to sensitise the Secretaries on how to discharge their duties effectively.
Mrs. Ogun advised them to work assiduously with their chairmen to reposition the party.
Three of the PDP Ward Secretaries, Mrs. Atoye Oluwafunmilayo, Mrs. Anuoluwapo Akindele and Mr. Asalu Emmanuel promised to perform their duties as expected.
