The maiden edition of appreciation Day of Radio Nigeria Progress FM Ado Ekiti has been held amidst jubilation.
The event featured praise and worship, rendering of special numbers by each department and award presentation to outstanding staff.
Addressing the workforce of the station, the General Manager, Mr. Dokun Ladele said the day was set aside to thank God for His guidance and protection over members from January to December in spite of some challenges facing the country.
Mr. Ladele also appreciated members of staff for tie positive contributions to the growth of the station in the outgoing year, calling on them to put in more efforts in the incoming year.
The General Manager assured them that the management would continue to accord priority to their welfare.
Some outstanding members of staff, including Tope Bamidele, Yemi Olowosile, Taiwo Falae, Funmi Falae, Toyin Oyerinde, Mercy Daniel, Kazeem Akande and Owolabi Adelaja were given awards.
