A Priest with a Celestial Church in Ayebode-Ekiti, Ikole local government, known as Prophet Olaosebikan has been allegedly killed by some young men.
According to a witness, the Priest was killed for allegedly dating a girlfriend of one of the young men.
The witness told Progress FM that the young men had on Sunday afternoon warned the Prophet to stop dating the lady and she was taken away by them.
It was gathered that the lady later went back to the house of Prophet Olaosebikan and the gang trailed her to his residence around eleven O’clock in the night during which he was killed and his body thrown inside a well in the Church premises.
The witness said the corpse has been recovered from the well and deposited in the morgue.
When contacted, the Police Public Relations Officer, Ekiti state command, Mr. Sunday Abutu said he had not been briefed about the incident as at the time of this report.
