In recognition of her contributions to the Society, the Chief Executive Officer, CEO, DLA Toys and Amusement Park, Lagos and AVO Pizza Fabulous, Arepo, Ogun State, Chief Mrs Yeye Folashade Shona will be honoured as One of the Influential Awardees at the 5th Oodua Special Recognition Awards Ile Ife 2024.
The Event which is slated for Sunday, October 13, 2024 at the popular Ojaja Arena, KLM 4, Ife-Ibadan Road, Ile-Ife, Osun State is sponsored by Ooni of Ife, His Imperial Majesty, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, Ojaja II.
Confirming her attendance, Chief Mrs Yeye Shona said such Award from Ile Ife, the Cradle of Yorubas could not be ignored as a true Daughter of Yoruba and also considering the name of a Revered Paramount Ruler, Oonirisa who she described as a father.
She added that, for her to be found worthy of such Prestigious Award being among eminently qualified sons and daughters of Oodua, would encourage her to do more for Nigeria, Yoruba Race and Humanity in general.
The Philanthropist, Entrepreneur and Women Empowerment Advocate, Chief Mrs Yeye Folashade Shona has been contributing in no small measures to the growth of others in the society and empowering many people to lift them out of poverty.
The Oodua Special Recognition Award (OSRA) is an annual ceremony for the celebration of personalities whose meritorious service to the Society are worthy of recognition.
The Nominees are selected based on public recommendations and a background check to be conducted to ensure that those selfless efforts geared towards promoting the Oodua heritage.
