Former Nigeria’s Military President, Retired General Ibrahim Babangida has advised Youths to know more about the country and the people, as these knowledge would prepare them for future leadership positions.
Retired General Babangida stated this while addressing newsmen at his Minna, Niger State home.
He said as Nigeria’s Leader, he served the country to the best of his ability and he asked history to judge him.
The Retired General declared that one of his greatest achievements was to know more about the country and make lots of friends.
He however admitted that several times he had to use coercion and at times, dialogue to achieve his aims.
The former military ruler added that even though some persons were not satisfied with his Presidential years, he was able to relate with the people well and got to know many parts of the country.
