PROGRESS FM RATTAWU ELECTS NEW EXECUTIVES

A new set of Executives to pilot the affairs of the Radio Television and Theatre Art Workers Union, RATTAWU Progress FM chapter has emerged.

All the officials were elected unopposed at the delegate congress held at the premises of the station.

In the election, Comrade Soji Afinjuomo emerged as the Chairman, Olumide Fanilola as Vice Chairman, Bola Olorunfemi-Secretary and Femi Ademulegun  is the Assistant Secretary.

Others are Toyin Oyerinde  as Financial Secretary, Kayode  Kolawole- Treasurer, Ganiyu Buhari as the Auditor and Anthony Adebayo-Public Relations Officer while Comrade Julius Kolawole was appointed as the Ex-officio.

In his acceptance speech, the new RATTAWU Chairman Progress FM chapter, Comrade Soji Afinjuomo promised to run an all-inclusive administration which would promote the interest of members.

Comrade Afinjuomo however sought the cooperation of members of RATTAWU to achieve success.

The outgone caretaker Chairman, Comrade Gbenga  Babalola who spoke through Comrade Julius Kolawole charged the new executives not to betray the trust reposed in them.

In a remark, the General Manager, Radio Nigeria, Progress FM, Ado-Ekiti, Mr. Dokun Ladele  gave assurance that the management of the station would work with the in-house unions to ensure harmonious working relationship.

Mr. Ladele urged members of RATTAWU to be united and enjoined them to support those aspiring for positions in the union at the state level.
