I will always be there for my people – Ojuawo, at thanksgiving.

Hon. AVM Rufus Adeniyi Ojuawo has renewed his commitment to working deligently for the people Ekiti South Constituency 1, according to the mandate given to him.

He reiterated this position at the Special Thanksgiving Service held for him today to appreciate God and the people for his successful swearing-in as a member of the 10th National Assembly.

“To show how seriously I take this mandate, I’ve moved two separate motions already within the first 10 sittings of the assembly and both of them will become bills in due course. By God’s grace, I will constantly get back to the people at home for proper assessment of my representation,” he said.

Meanwhile, plitical office holders have been advised to be faithful and ensure they fulfill all their electionning promises.

The vicar in charge of Saint Mark Anglican church Ise Ekiti, Venerable Ebenezer Babalola, gave the advice during the Thanksgiving service for Retired Air Vice Marshall Rufus Ojuawo as member of house of representatives,Ekiti South Federal constituency one.

Venerable Babalola noted that people had reposed their confidence in the political office holders by voting for them ,hence the need to fulfill all promises made during their campaigns.

In their goodwill messages, The Speaker of the lower house ,Dr.Tajudeen Abbas who was represented by member house of representatives Ife Federal constituency,MrTaofeek Ajilesoro and Deputy governor of Ekiti State,Chief Monisade Afuye,who spoke through her SA special duty,Mr. Boye Adegboye urged the congress man to be committed to the development of his people and not to deviate from promises made to them

The Arinjale of Ise-Ekiti, Oba Ayodele Ajayi who spoke on behalf of other royal fathers at the gathering explained that Retired Air Vice Marshall Ojuawo victory was as a result of his good deeds, praying God to direct and guide him.

In separate interviews, the wife of the celebrant Mrs Olaitan Ojuawo and one of his siblings pastor Femi Ojuawo described him as a diligent and hardworking person whom they believed would be a good leader.

While speaking,the celebrant Retired Air Vice Marshall Rufus Ojuawo appreciated God for sparing his life and promised to serve diligently the people of his constituency and Ekiti State at large.
