Afrobeat musician, Seun Kuti on Monday submitted himself to the Lagos State Police Command over investigation into his alleged assault on a policeman at the Third Mainland Bridge in Lagos, last Saturday.
He reported to the police in the company of his lawyer and a family member.
Spokesperson for the police command, Benjamin Hundeyin confirmed this to newsmen in Lagos.
Mr. Hundeyin said Seun is now at the State Criminal Investigation Department in the Panti area of the state.
He also said upon completion of investigation, the police would go ahead with prosecution of the singer if there is any reasonable ground.
The inspector General of police, Mr Usman Baba had immediately after the assault ordered the arrest of the Afro Beat Singer, Seun Kuti.
