2023: Alasoluyi endorses Obayemi, urges Ekiti Electorates to get their PVCs

A chieftain of the Social Democratic Party, SDP, in Ekiti State, Biodun Alasoluyi, has declared his support for the party’s candidate for Ekiti Central Constituency 1 in the House of Representatives, Toyin Obayemi.

The SDP stalwart urged electorates in the state and members of the party to get their Permanent Voters Cards, PVCs and vote for the party in the general elections.

Alasoluyi, who said this in Ado-Ekiti, at a political meeting, noted that Nigerians were tired of APC led administration hence the need for Nigerians to vote for all candidates of SDP for the country to witness the desired social economic development.

According to him, Nigerians have never experienced this unwarranted situation since the country got its independence from colonial master.

“It is time for all Nigerians to use their voter cards to redesign the destination of the nation, how can country blessed with human and natural resources be wallowing in abject poverty to the extent that the productive generations of her citizens are traveling abroad for greener pastures and the government is unmoved.”

Alasoluyi appealed to members of SDP in the state to continue to mobilise themselves and come out in their large numbers on the election day to cast their votes for all the candidates of the party.

The SDP bigwig charged them not to succumb to intimidation and harrassment which is what some moneybag politicians in the state are known for, stating that such an act will be resisted by the people during the forthcoming election.

He explained that people were ready to decide and shape the future of Nigeria, saying vote buying and other malpractice would be resisted by Nigerians during the poll.

In his remark, Obayemi solicited for the votes of his constituents, saying if eventually emerge, he will perform excellently by bringing dividend of democracy to them.
