A 20-year old boy, name withheld, has been alleged to have forcefully defiled a 4-year old girl in Ado Ekiti.
This is coming barely a day after a 15-year old boy raped a 3-year old girl in Osi Ekiti, Ido Osi local government.
The incident according to witnesses occurred at Alafiatayo community Ajilosun Ado Ekiti.
Progress FM gathered that the young man lives in the same compound with the parent of the victim.
He was said to have performed the act when other members of the building were busy with other activities outside the compound.
The loud cry of the baby girl due to the pain of the act caught the attention of neighbours and the mother of the girl who later reported the issue to the Ologede Police station.
When contacted, the Ekiti State Police Public Relations Officer, Mr Sunday Abutu confirmed the incident saying the suspect had been arrested and had also confessed to the crime.
It was also gathered that the office of the wife of the governor of Ekiti State, Erelu Bisi Fayemi has been notified about the matter.
