16 Days of Activism: RATTAWU Urges Media Workers to Sustain Advocacy.

Media workers have been advised to sustain the fights against Gender Based Violence.

Rising from a monthly meeting of the Radio Television Theater and Arts Workers Union (RATTAWU) women’s wing in Ekiti State, the leadership of the union resolved that media workers should not get tired of lending their voices to the fight against Gender Based Violence in Ekiti State.

The Chairperson of Radio Television Theater and Arts Workers Union (RATTAWU) women’s wing in Ekiti State,
Mrs Adebola Agbaje said, more sensitization and enlightenment on Gender Based Violence should be the focus of the media workers on their programme presentations and productions on both radio and television in the State.

RATTAWU women’s wing also advised women in the state who are going through gender based violence to speak out and stop concealing their pains to themselves.

Mrs Adebola Agbaje advised government and non governmental organizations who are into gender based violence activism to collaborate with RATTAWU for more effective campaigns against Gender Based Violence.
